Annex III of Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 sets out the essential health and safety requirements (EHSR) that all machinery must meet, including what the instruction manual must contain (section 1.7.4.2). It replaces Annex I of Directive 2006/42/EC. Article 10 sets the manufacturer's obligations on instructions, including when they may be digital.
