What it requires
1.3.6 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 requires: operations under different conditions of use (speeds, dimensions) must be capable of being carried out safely. It is unchanged in substance compared with Directive 2006/42/EC and applies to machinery placed on the market from 20 January 2027.

Where the machinery or related product performs operations under different conditions of use, it shall be designed and constructed in such a way that selection and adjustment of these conditions can be carried out safely and reliably.
