What it requires
1.7.4.2(1)(v) of Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 requires: precautions, devices and means for the immediate rescue of persons. It is a new requirement compared with Directive 2006/42/EC and applies to machinery placed on the market from 20 January 2027.

New point (in the Directive, point (v) covered non-ionising radiation).
What the instruction manual must reflect
The precautions, devices and means provided to rescue a person immediately, for example if they become trapped.
