What it requires
1.2.4.2 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 requires: an operational stop that does not cut off the energy supply must be monitored and maintained. It is unchanged in substance compared with Directive 2006/42/EC and applies to machinery placed on the market from 20 January 2027.

Where, for operational reasons, a stop control that does not cut off the energy supply to the actuators is required, the stop condition shall be monitored and maintained.
