What it requires
Art. 10(7), last subparagraph of Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 requires: instructions, safety information and Annex III information in a language easily understood by users, as determined by the Member State; clear, understandable and legible. It is unchanged in substance compared with Directive 2006/42/EC and applies to machinery placed on the market from 20 January 2027.

The instructions for use, the safety information and the information set out in Annex III shall be in a language which can be easily understood by users, as determined by the Member State concerned, and shall be clear, understandable and legible.
